Cant Burn Nero Disc-At-Once Anymore

Since earlier today I can no longer burn DVD:s and by now I have wrecked 10 discs to no avail. I cant keep going like this just trying and trying changing different stuff and end up losing disc after disc.. its a money question.

The problem is the end of Disc-At-Once process. As soon as its about to finish and its on 100% the burner starts bugging and it cant finish and I get a message saying:
“Can not perform end of disc-at-once”
This is terrible. I updated the firmware and all but to no avail..This is terrible terrible terrible.. 10 discs to hell.. what am I gonna do, what am I gonna do?!?!?

  1. The problem is solved, I dont know what did it exactly but the RAM-part might have been one of the deals and I bought 1gb extra yesterday (they sold it really cheap like 25 dollars) and it works to perfection.
    HOWEVER regarding your statement that there was not enough room on the disc, what was absolutely NOT the case. Like I said I have been able to burn 4.35gb so many times before, and when put into NERO Burning Rom it has always become like 4462 mb:
    Simply that 4.35gibibytes IS 4.462 GIGAbytes on the disc.

    Probably because of the ‘lead in’ and ‘lead out’ added.

    4,482mb is more than 4.3gb. 4.35 might be ok, but it’s very close to the theoretical limit.
    You will have to ask Nero why it isn’t warning you.

  4. The confusion is caused by the difference in how we count between decimal and binary.

    4.3GB using Base2 (1024 * 1024)
    The 4.7GB number is a Base10 (1000 * 1000) misnomer.
