If your laptop hasn’t got a built in bluetooth adapter (there will be a ‘bluetooth’ logo’d key and a sticker on the base of the unit), you can get USB ones very cheaply – HERE is one example.

Click Start –> Devices and Printers.
Right-click your computer in the list of devices and select Bluetooth settings.
Select the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer checkbox in the Bluetooth Settings window, and then click OK.
To pair the device, go to Start –> Devices and Printers –> Add a device.
