I burn music files to CD-R disc. When it is ejected and I try to play it in a CD player, I get “CD has not been FINALIZED”. I can not find any instructions for FINALIZING a CD. I am a novice, so need detailed instructions.

To finalize your disc:
Start by clicking the “My Computer” icon.
Find the disc icon for your CD or DVD; if you gave it a name it should show up there too.
Right click on the icon and select “Close Session.”
A pop-up box will appear once the finalization is done. Your disc can now be safely removed from your drive.
O.A.Gorden, did you use Live File System Format to burn the CD-R? If so, you just need to open My Computer, with the unclosed CD-R inserted click your CD/DVD Burner and on top toolbar click “Close session”.
If you used a 3rd party burning program, that should be somewhere in the Help File.
