Errors Running Asus AI Suite 3 – Is It a Needed Program?

Is ASUS Ai Suite III a needed program?
Because I have a problem that I cannot fix.
I tried reverting windows, removing Suite and reinstalling it and on start I get this error.

Aisuite3
Server execution failed, ProgID:
“AsusFanControlService.FanControlManager”

I got that after running Unthreat and other anti-malware programs to remove a hijacker.

My processor is a 3.9 GHZ Quad-core, *8 GB DDR4 I think”
Windows 7 Home premium
harddrive type are SATA
