Delete Files On USB Modem Stick, How?

Hi,
Which would be the easiest way to solve this problem:

-Every time i connect my mobile USB modem stick to the USB port, a certain setup.exe program will launch in the root of the USB stick. It is the installer of the modem connection dashboard program, that i don’t need, and don’t want to install.

-I can’t delete any file in the USB stick, because they are marked “Read only” attribute. As i try to delete, it tells something about permissions. I can’t understand, i am logged on Windows 7 using admininstrator account.

-If it’s impossible to delete these files (autorun.inf, setup.exe) , can i somehow (other than deleting them) block them from launching?
