I tried to create a new PST file in Outlook 2002. I click on Tools –> Email Accounts –> View or change existing email accounts –> New Outlook Data file
Once after I click on new outlook data file, the types of storage is blank – I cannot create a new .pst file. Please help me out.
Solved Types Of Storage is Blank in New Outlook Data

I have two systems side by side, and one of them will not allow me to add pst files, the other will. They have the exact same group policy, version of Outlook, etc. I am still investigating.
The common fixes for the OP’s problem (which almost always resolve this) are:
1) rename ‘mapisvc.inf’ file to ‘mapisvcOLD.inf’ – this file is found in two places: C:\Windows\System32, and C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
If that doesn’t do it, try this:
2) in REGEDIT, change the registry key. Usually (DisablePST = 1) was added and set to prevent the creation of PST files and hence no data types appeared in the list. When you modify the value of the registry key back to 0, you can add PST files again. You need to make the change to all versions of the key.
