How To Set Your Firefox New Tab Page!

I've seen many, many people asking how to set the page that comes up when a new tab in Firefox is opened. Some people want it to be blank, some want a specific site. Firefox does offer a way to control all this but it isn't easy to figure out, even with the aide of google. Here are the steps

Step 1.
In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.

Step 2. Type browser.newtab.url in the search box.

Step 3. Double-click the browser.newtab.url preference and change the url from about:newtab to about:blank. Alternately, you can change it to about:home for the Firefox Google home page, or type in your preferred home page, for example http://www.google.com.

Step 4. Click OK and close the about:config tab.
