Try doing a system restore back to an earlier date. If that doesn't work you will need to do a repair install.

In future keep well away from the registry until you know and understand exactly what you are doing. There a very few entries in the registry that need to be deleted all though there may be a lot of redundant entries, they do not do any harm

Is this VIsta or XP. There is a difference.

You can try booting into the recovery console and doing s system restore from there but even for that you need a bootable CD. You have to do to do a repair install and for that you need a bookable CD.

If you dont have a bootable Vista CD then you are pretty much screwed.

You say "but its not a genuine vista os" and yet you are trying to load XP. Seems you have a bit of explaining to do. If the Vista OS is not genuine then you cannot expect any help from this forum!
