do you have the vista cd?

You can just start install, delete the partitions and then exit install.

otherwise google kill disk

Killdisk will wipe ALL partitions and data off the drive. If your computer came with Windows/vista pre-installed you should have a hidden partition that will also get wiped. Then you won't be able to re-install Windows.

What is it you are trying to accomplish?

BTW, why did you post this in the WinXP forum if you use Vista?

I don't assume anything here at CN. Better safe than sorry. Many don't know about a hidden partition.

yeah; not obvious what Vista has to do with XP forum. Nor what internet connection has to do with wiping a disk.

OP needs to get clear on what's to be done.
