Do a system restore to a time before you installed the update. If you cannot do it from Windows reboot into safe mode and complete from there. Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore and follow the prompts. That will roll back any changes made to your system by the update.
Hope this helps

Fredonia NY?

Try tapping the F8 key at bootup, then select Last Know Good Configuration

Can't re-set system as I can't get by Ctrl alt delete protocol. Tried F8 but didn't work. Put Windows disc in DVD drive but drive is not being recognized/functioning. No floppy drive.

F8 should work. Try tapping it continuously from the moment you power up.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
