I got this acer travelmate 8005 Mli labtop. The 80gb hard drive died so i bought this new seagate expendable 500gb usb hard drive. When i try to install windows xp at first everything's ok ..but when i try to boot it it gives me the blue screen error. I tryed to repair it with recovery console but nothing happens. So what to do? i thought it could be cause of usb drivers r something ....plz help :)

I suspect your listing of the system specs is incorrect. That model laptop came standard with 512mb ram expandable to 2gb.
The problem might be the hard drive. With original drive only 80gb it is possible the machine is not 48bitLBA compliant and therefore cannot handle a hard drive larger than 137gb.

It's laPtop, not laBtop! THIS is a labtop.

Why didn't you have just replaced the internal HDD? As mavis007 stated, what you're attempting to do is NOT a good idea.

... interesting pic mickliq I use the same two brushes to unblock my kahzi many a time; but mainly used the white brush with a slight bend @ the tip "uncanny"
