Is this a custom build or a pc bought off the shelves? Hp, Dell, etc, etc,...
i don't know i bought computer in computer company it say is gigabyte, i don't know, can you help me windows 7 is working ok.
Ok is this a dual boot system? In other words you have the choice to boot into XP or Win7?
yes, one disk is 2tb windows7 and the other disk 640 gb is windows xp wich runns very slowly.
In XP check the task manager to see how many things are running.
i have checked task manager and the system uses 700 mb of ram there is almost 3 gb ram free, i don't know why the computer is so slow i have updated motherboard drivers and reinstalled video card drivers but it's the same, can you help me ?
Define "slow". Can you give an example of something you do in XP that seems unusually slow?
The one thing that slows down computers the most is Anti Viruses. Are you sure you have the same anti virus on your Windows 7 boot that you have on your Windows XP boot.
i have avast antivirus i tried to unistall but it's the same.
sounds like Norton or McAfee was not properly uninstalled using the uninstallers from the respective websites. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
