|I had my PC wiped and reloaded with win XP. In the process of restoring backups, I noticed the basic text size of the screen was tiny. I used the appearance adjustments, but that did not change the size of text on information windows. This also affects web sites. The text is displayed as tiny.|
One application in the Control menu gives me a way to adjust text size from 96 to 128 dpi or set a custom size. However, it requires the Windows XP home edition disk -- which I do not have as my system was factory loaded.
The last time I had the system wiped and reloaded (damn viruses) I didn't have this problem.
