When will those people up on Redmond Campus
come up with a better solution to repair something
their aged and out of date, auto update system
screwed up in the first place. Press 'r' to go to repair
console? Its a set of command lines you have to type
in by hand - how can it be a console for Gates sake?
Run a batch command? Why should we? This is 2009
not 1989!!! Its been a decade and those idiots up at
Redmond have still to 'invent' an auto repair set of
DOS commands to repair corrupted registries?
Please. Here's a hint guys. Can the registry. Open the
OS to simple logic and move on or fix what's broken
before you make any more 'new' stuff. Wake up Gates
successor. have a dream or something. or leave it to
the people that know what they are doing.

Windows 7? Would that be the 7th time they got it
wrong then?

If it helps any Vista and Windows 7 has a one click repair. Dunno if it works.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
