When i run the CD of Windows XP Media Center Edition 05 i press a key to start the CD then it said a flash of white words then i got a black screen then like the PC's Fans hit Hyper drive and thats all it will i do im a little confused so help would greatly be Appreciated
... see if you can post those white words, try to time it [press] the pause <key> when they flash up again (if it'll let you)

It wont i only saw the word System and thats it it was all gone
... did you have an operating system on the pc or was it formatted? ... try tapping <F8> <key> @ bootup "without" the cd in the tray
... do you see a menu? ... if so select "safe mode" .... post back

There Is no OS because i forget what happened but i do see these words sometimes System is inspecting you computers Hardware Configuration
... is the harddrive seen in the bios? ... you hav'nt posted pc system specs, might be handy
... also have you installed new hardware etc ? is it a sata system?

But i have the SATA plugged in to the 2nd slot because the 1st slot is broken the pins are bent so bad but i looked it up and it said it shouldn't matter what One it is plugged in to.
... does look like a memory anomaly doesn't it(?) ... your other thread post mentions graphics card problems maybe a link there!
