windows setup keeps repeating

Specs: Windows XP, 1000Mhz / 256 Mb
I'am traing to install win XP to my laptop from bootable CD. Afther check and formating, setup starts to coping files, but when it's finish setup start again from the start over and over

If you hit any key to boot from the CD a second time the process will repeat itself.

I don't hit eny key. This is not my irst time to reinstal xp.usualy there is title computer will reboot in ....second and instalation is going to right direction. But this time afther 100% (COPING FILES) automaticly return me on the begining....again

Try removing the CD when setup is restarting.

Chuck 2 I try by your method....nothing
mesage is

Hard disc boot sector invalid
Press 'H' to retry Hard Disc, any other key for floppy

My laptop dont have floppy slot.
When I try all over again, whwn it comes to part where you are ofer to format partition I see that my HDD don't have copy that few minutes ago windows setup just copied, before windows begin to restart

OK, did the laptop originally come with a newer version of Windows?

Your problem may be caused by WinXP's inability to configure SATA hard drives natively.
