Specs: Windows XP
When I click on a folder, instead of it opening, windows search displays. How can I get OPEN to be the default instead of MWS?

Old dude, Here's an easy fix.

Click Start>Run then copy & paste or type in:

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK,

Note that the spacing is important.

Thanks Tufenuf. But this points out another problem that I didn't know I had.
There is no RUN command in my
START menu. I have never used RUN so didn't realize it was missing. I will be researching this also!

Old dude, Right click your Start button, choose Properties, under the Start Menu tab click the Customize button, under the Advanced tab/Start Menu Items scroll down to Run Command and checkmark it, click OK/Apply/OK.
