Windows Installation CD's

Specs: Macintosh
Is there any way I can legally obtain Windows setup
disks, with-out buying an actual copy with a COA?
OEM+Retail, 32bit+64bit. I do not need any COA's as I
will be using the CD's to merely fix peoples machines

Don't you have a copy, or copies, of your own? If you do, make a copy of the /i386 folder and that's all you need.

If you have both the 32 and 64 bit versions, make a copy of each's /i386 folder on the same CD (they should both fit) and there you go. Label one /i386_64 and the other /i386_32 so you can tell them apart.

Alternatively, you could copy the /i386 folder from someone elses CD.

Doing that isn't illegal.

Will the I386 folder be the same in retail and oem installations?
If I have to reinstall windows xp and I have the I386 folder from
an OEM installation, will a retail COA work? I ask becuase I
have tried this before with genuine windows OEM cd's and it
does not accept the retail COA
