Windows IE is running so slow.

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 1.808 GHz / 447 MB
My computer is running so slow. I tried to install my Cricket,Cricket Connection Manager,then needed to uninstall it from the add/remove on computer. I can not get it unstalled. I get message(
Cricket Broadband Connect-Install Sheild Wizard

An error(-5005:0x80070002) has occurred while running the setup.
Please make sure ypu have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs,please contact your bendor. Cricket Wireless ( I called Cricket broadband Customer Service who told me to contact Microsoft about problem. I contacted Microsoft and they said coverage for Windows XP ran out July 2009 and I would be charged if they could fix problem. Do you know how I can unstall Cricket Connect Manager(it does not work)so I can reinstall it. I did a system restore then got my Cricket Connection Manager installed and working,then did another system restore and lost my install. I have to go the long way to connect my Cricket Broadband to use IE. Every time I try to unstall the Cricket Connect Manager it is like it gets stuck. I have tried to reinstall the Cricket Broadband Manager and get message (The contents of this fole cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file,verify its integrity and try again.) What does this mean? My computer is running so slow since all these problems started,I do not know why. I go to Facebook and to Farmville though Facebook and it has gotten impossible to play Farmvill because it goes so slow. Please help me if you can. My computer makes wierd noises,clicks and like electrical wires frying. What could be the problem.

Just go ahead & install it again, then uninstall it.

If you get it uninstalled, I would recommend do a disk clean up and then a disk defragment before reinstalling again.
