Specs: Windows XP
Hi I have a Samsung N130. I cannot open
windows explorer. I double click on the icon it
appears to open the window but then closes it
immediately. Sometimes I have a message:
'Your last browsing session closed
unexpectedly' I then clicked on restore last
session or go to home page but it closes down
the window immediately. I cannot get onto the
internet at all. I've done a Ping check and
all 4 packets sent were received. I've cleared
the cookies/browsing history but still nothing.

Please help, many thanks

Your heading says Windows Explorer but you seem to be talking about a web browser. Do you mean Internet Explorer?

Windows Explorer is the inbuilt file explorer used for looking at files on your PC. IE is the web browser.

Which version of IE are you using. Have you tried an alternative browser such as firefox?

Sorry I meant Windows Internet Explorer 8. I don't know how to
try another alternative browser if I can't connect to the internet.

Many thanks

You use the PC you are on now and download firefox. Save it to a CD or USB key. Transfer it to the problem PC and install it.

Internet explorer is part of operating system so windows can't let anybody remove it. If u are using win xp best to downgrade to ie7 and yes firefox is the best browser.
