Windows did not start successfully

Specs: Windows XP
Windows is not starting up after a power failure. Nothing is starting the Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking etc. Not even Start Windows Normally. HELP!

Here we go again....MORE INFO is needed.
1- is it a desktop or laptop?
2- was the power failure due to a storm?

This is a netbook and the power failure was not caused by a storm.

I might say it could be your AC adapter gone south. Google for a new one, they are real cheap anymore. Even if the light is on the adapter, doesn't mean it is putting out enough power to start up a laptop.

You may also want to check your manual to see where the reset switch is for the laptop and try that before ordering a new adapter.
