|OK this is getting mysterious and sickening.|
Lately, Windows (or presumably explorer.exe) has starting behaving weird. When I navigate around among folders and files in explorer windows, suddenly when I mark a file or a bunch, and start right-clicking on them or pressing Ctrl+X (i.e.), the windows suddenly just close down, with the taskbar 'refreshing'.
As I thought this was my explorer.exe (or maybe it is) causing problems, I followed http://www.ehow.com/how_4592369_problem-windows-xp-taskbar-disappears.html to change the explorer.exe file, by having the registry use a copy of it, but the problem still appears.
Any clues for solving?
