windowroot\system32\ntokrnl.exe Hell! Computer at stand stil

November 7, 2012 at 02:47:28
Specs: Windows XP Home Edition, Intel Mobile Pentium/512.0 MB
I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S2112 and it will not boot. I get this error when I try. Windows could not start due to missing or corrupt files. <Windows root>\system32\ntokrnl.exe The computer just hangs on this error message. I do not have a cd for recovery and recovery console isn't an option since I cannot boot. I have tried going to safe mode and selecting F12 and no dice. This error just hangs ther and will not let me advance in any way.
Have arrived at wits end with this issue and would like to know if it is possible to remove windows even though I can't boot and can't use cd. Plz help now!!!

Thankful for any help I can get!

Jay

Borrow an XP cd and do a "repair" of XP, you can look up the xp repair process, but no matter how you cut the pie you need a copy of xp to fix your problem.

You can remove it with this:

Then again you might want to reconsider.
