Window wont start

Specs: Windows XP
My windows xp will not start. I get a message: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this." What do i do?? :(

Tap the F8 key constantly when you boot up the machine. This will take you to a screen that will allow you to boot into Safe Mode. When in Safe Mode, try a system restore.

download and Burn ERD commander ISO Image and boot this at start up of computer this will then allow you to get in to the system once in use the wizard to help you fix the problem and check the device manager if you do not have access to a cd burner that burnes ISO images then let me know and I will send a cd to you free of charge that will get you back on you feet pm me if you would like this cd kind regards
