Win XP startup with only desktop picture.

Specs: Windows XP, Pentium T4200 / 3 GB Ram
Hello Everyone.
I did some cleaning on my laptop, to get rid of malaware, virus, etc. After that, I started having a problem on windows startup. A description of problem is:
After starting the computer and typing my admin password, the windows session starts without either icons nor taskbar. I can only see my desktop picture and the mouse. To solve it, I press ctrl+alt+del, logoff from my user, and restart the session again. Sometimes I have to do this twice to get windows started normaly.

Please, I would really appreciate some help, since this is makes my startup so long and annoying.
Thanks.

At the taskmanager -> File -> Run -> explorer.exe (hit enter)

If that still doesn't work, or the problem repeats, your startup is maybe full with other programs, and trying to starting up..

At the taskmanager -> File -> Run -> msconfig (hit enter) -> Startup

DO ONLY CHECK PROGRAMS OUT THAT YOU KNOW BY NAME, LIKE msnmsgr.exe (MSN) , OTHERWISE IT COULD BE A IMPORTANT SYSTEM SERVICE\PROGRAM.

Taskbar and Icons missing:

Try this:
http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/...
(Original Message, and Response Number 1 looks like a fix?)

Also try this:
http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/...
and
http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/...
(That one is a special Posting someone made of how he fixed it.)

Another fix is un-quarintene explorer in Spydoctor.

Some require the download of a VBS file.
So, read at the top of that page--
"How to use a VBS file"
Go to line 195 in right column.
