Actually its win xp pro sp1 (but you don't show
that)
I don't recall giving any permission to my
computor to convert fat 32, but everytime I
restart, its starts again tring to convert to
NTFS, and jams. Tell me system.sav is
corrupt or I don't have enough free space..
Wrong I have lots..then goes to next file same
thing. Until it finishes takes hours and hours.
Then the next time I restart same thing again.
How can I stop this. Right now its jamed after
system.sav corrupt. If I cold boot it will restart
again. HELPPP
I suspect that a conversion to NTFS was attempted. For some reason the conversion failed and it is attempting to restart the process on every reboot. Stopping the conversion would solve nothing as the file system is in an usable state. Probably the only way to restore operation would be a reinstall. There are utilities available that could probably recover some of your data. I don't have any experience with them.
HI there , In order to get rid of this message follow the steps below.
1) Start Registry Editor by clicking on run prompt and entering regedt32.exe and hitting enter.
2) Click on edit--> Find and now enter
bootexecute
in search boxand click on find .
3) after sometime it will show you bootexecute key . just open it and replace it with
autocheck autochk *
click ok then close registry and you will never see the message of conversion again.
Best of luck

Boot to safe mode to try that. I support the 'Everybody Draw Mohammed Day'. A religion doesn't deny my freedom.
