Why isn't IE8 loading on my Dell desktop?

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.793 GHz / 3582 MB

I have this problem for a long time now, IE8 is
not loading. But wondering I can use my
google chrome without a problem. This
problem started when I used paretologic
updates of my driver. Paretologic seems did
not contribute good to my PC to the point that
I decided to unistall the software, though they
refunded me the money, but they are leaving a
big miss to my PC. Please help why ie8 is not

Use Firefox and forget IE8

Uninstall IE8 & go back to IE7.

Many recommend waiting for IE8 until you go with windows 7. If your system is sufficiently fast and you have sufficient memory, you can run IE8. Try this page:


and follow the download link instead of using windows update. I generally prefer Firefox, but there are times when you need Internet Explorer though (windows update for one).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
