You don't give us much to go on. How are you connected to the internet? E.g. dialup, DSL, cable.
Do you connect through a router? If so, make and model?
Do you have a wireless configuration?
Please, throw us a few crumbs, if you want an answer.
Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.
Apologies, wasn't very clear! I lose internet connection everyday at 5pm, wireless router is what I use, from wXP, all other pc's in the office are fine, but mine is the main pc, and it seems to crash at 5pm with no access.
The router may have a blockout time set for that particular PC. What make/model router and can you get into the router admin interface to check the settings?

This sounds dumb I know, but its off a WINS and DNS server
I can get into the settings
Is it it the Internet that goes down or just the wireless connection. If the other computers can still connect to the Internet I would start looking at what is killing the wireless connection.
Something like the cleaner coming in at 5:00 PM and switching on a vacuum cleaner.

You do know that accounts can be set to be denied access at certain times of the day? Check and see if there is a time limit set on the server for your account. Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth.
