Specs: Windows XP
I hace a 100 gig hard drive (C Drive) I have only about 2 gigs of actual programs on the drive and 600 meg of available space. I have removed every program I can and moved most data files (music, photos etc.) to my 500 gig external drive. I've run Ccleaner and defragmented the drive several times but not gained a significant amount of space. How can I clear more space? Do I need to wipe the drive and re-install the system. I am running Windows XP Thanks for your help

If I were you, I would use a tool, to check the folders size to figure out, where (in which folders) all the diskspace is used.

I use TotalCommander for such things. In TotalCommander, you go to drive C:\ and press the keys ALT+SHIFT+ENTER and is calculates the amount of MB or GB of data stored in the folders.
Then you go into the folder which the most used space an start again with ALT+SHIFT+ENTER.
