Specs: Windows XP
when i start my computer everything loads big.. even when it says windows .. really big then the desktop loads and its big as well.. i tried to restore it, nothing happened. i went to screen resolution sometimes the slider will move and i will click apply and its still the same. at other times the slider is stuck in 600x800. its really aggravating. can someone please help me.

You need to install your video drivers. If you post your system specs, we can help you find them. If you know the make and model # you can get them from the manufacturers website.

What is the make and model #. It should be displayed somewhere on the computer. I,E. is it a dell dimension etc.

If your system is a custom built computer, that is not a off the shelf brand name download and run Belarc Advisor

It will profile your system. Post back with what it says under the "Display" heading. It should show some sort of display adapter.

Start Menu > Run
Type in
DxDiag

ok

This will provide your specs. Click Save info in last Tab. Look in Disply tab and if the product name is "generic", you haven't loaded drivers for the device.

What have you done, recently, that may have changed your settings?
