Specs: Windows XP, 512 MB
Recently.... my window is behaving weired. When I click anywhere or try to do anything, windows just open up a 'windows search'. I looked at some of the community pages... and performed few things suggested... It worked fine for few hours but again went back to the same problem. I am told XP has this as a known problem !!!

Ami53, Click Start>Run then copy & paste or type in:

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK

Restart your computer.

Note that the spacing is important.

Tufenuf.

The problem was fixed.. but it keeps coming back ever few days.

Like the computor works fine and then I gets the same problem. When I type the command (regsvr32 /i shell32) problem disappears... again after few days it goes back to same... Again when I type commands problem disappears and so on....

thanks
