whatis netdolst.dll my comp. looks for it

Specs: Windows XP
on start up computer says can't find. netdolst.dll not on my system, maybe from another program? windows says to try search again. but i have never searched for it. i close the window and seems to work fine. but every time i startup it comes up again . help please if anyone can.
this has been happening since i did a system restore

Click Run and type MSCONFIG, then click Startup tab. Look for something with that name or a program that could be associated with it. It's part of a program that's no longer installed.

Thanks. Will try, although I did similar looks before and never found anything. I previously uninstalled 2 " conduit engines" one for google toolbar and one for utorrent toolbar. May have been in there. Stll getting the same message but so far I suck at finding it. Will keep trying. Thanks for your help so far.

I couldn't find it on google so I presume it is a form of spyware. You can start by running an updated full scan and remove all it finds

Thanks. I have tried that but, not a full scan . Will retry and hope for the best. My " GUESS " is it came in with a" conduit Engine " I deleted the ones I know I have on there but may have missed a file in the delete. I use " REVO UNINSTALLER " to remove stuff, but I may have missed a file on the full delete.

Computers sure are fun sometimes:)
