what does the command cd\ means? thanks

Specs: Windows XP
I typed help cd\ in command promt but it says that is not supported by the help utility. I need this explanation for school but I don't find it anywhere. I'm not quite keen in computing so I didn't know whwre to post this.

if you are unsure of command features you can type /? for example cd /?
will bring up the "change directory" options! CD is for changing directory path or showing current directory.
