what does it mean when it says server not fou

Specs: Windows XP
While on my laptop, I go into Foxfire and try to log onto a website. It searches for a minute then always comes back with "server not found" error. Do I have something not not setup correctly in my internet set-up controlls?

Do any sites work? If so, it's the webpage. The error message means it can't find their server. This often happens when a webpage is down for whatever reason.

Sounds like possibly your firewall is preventing Firefox from getting on the internet.

Delete all permissions for Firefox in your firewall's options, then start Firefox and allow it to connect to the internet.

Some firewalls don't actually disable when you disable them. Try removing all references to Firefox from the firewall's options and then start Firefox and see if you are prompted as to allow Firefox to access the internet and allow it if possible.
