Mike19, the latest version of NOD32 v3.0 is 3.0.695.0 which you should download and upgrade to at this ESET page. If you already bought a copy of NOD32, click on the "Take me to my download" link, expand the "Previous Releases" section and download the latest build of NOD32 3.0 using your registered username and password and install it.

btw, the wgalogon.dll file never shows up in Task Manager, only wgatray.exe. The steps to remove WGA Notifications at that Wikihow site are not accurate and missing the steps to remove the WGA registry entries.

Here's a better way to remove WGA Notifications:

Mike, Why would you want to install AVG if you already have Nod32 which in my opinion way better than AVG? If you still want to uninstall Nod32 the link below should be of some help.

How do I manually uninstall my ESET security product?

"hey you guys are all good man I really want to have nod32 on my system but you see its not updating the virus signature is still on 2740.I would appreciate any help on how to update nod."

Mike, we won't help you any further on NOD32 unless you can tell us if you are using NOD32 version 3.0.695.0. Run the NOD32 program, click on it's Help feature and select About NOD32 to check version number. We really don't want you to use an old and "buggy" version of NOD32 v3.0 and so you must upgrade the NOD32 v3 application first to the most reliable 3.0.695 release before updating the NOD32 virus definition files.

AND I also think you should now create a separate forum topic on how to update NOD32 instead of continuing it since your wgalogon.dll problem has been resolved.
