After reformatting and reinstalling win XP pro, one program, “McWeb – WebWeaver Gold 2005, (a HTML editor)”, will not start.

It gets to the splash page and immediately reverts back to the desktop.

The company is no longer in business and cannot be contacted for a hard copy.

This program was purchased several years ago and down loaded via the internet and I was given a key to unlock the program. I reinstalled this program from a backup (not from a hard copy setup).

The program is not recognized and doesn’t show up in “Add or Remove Programs”, I think after the reinstall, some DLL’s are missing, however I do not know which ones?

My question is: “How can I find the missing DLL’s” and “Is there a way to by-pass the splash page and start the program”?

thanks for the answer, but "Softpedia" does not have the program "Webweaver Gold 2005".

What is available is just another HTML Editor. . .

I am looking for a way to use my existing program.
