I don't know if I have a restore point. If I do, how do I find it
If I don't have one How do I set-up one for future?

Unless you disabled System Restore, you have restore points & new ones are being created automatically on a regular basis. You should consider limiting the amount of disk space System Restore wastes uses.

I doubt anyone ever needs more than 20 restore points and most folk could manage with a lot less. The space situation depends on how much free space you happen to have.

In my experience, SR is hardly worth relying on as a backup strategy. It often fails to actually restore anything (and without telling you why) especially on Windows XP, and specific restore points cannot be permanently saved.

Much better to create entire hard drive image files on at least two external hard drives using proprietary software, some of which is freeware or donationware.
