Specs: Windows XP, 80 gig HDD/ i gig ram
I have windows 2003 server on my c drive. I don't use it. I have windows xp on a d drive on the same HDD. I want to know if it's possible to delete server 2003 and have xp become the new c drive?

Sure its possible.

You would image d:
You would restore that image to c: which will wipe out 2003
Then you do a repair install of xp to correct the invalid registry entries [d: to c:] and setup booting [which it doesn't have now since that is on present c:]

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

When you boot to the XP OS, does it actually use it's references as D: or do they have the drive as C:?

Hang up and live.
