Verizon MIFI 2200 aircard shows connected but

March 3, 2011 at 10:27:58
Specs: Windows Vista
Just got a Verizon MiFi200 aircard. It shows connected (the card itself) and will pick up an internet connection for a while, then the connection drop.
When we first got it there were problems even getting the card to connect. After going thru several tech support people at Verizon, one finally found a setting on a switch on their end that fixed the connection problems.
Now the problem is that the card shows connected, yet when we open a browser (Internet Explorer) we cannot get on the internet.

No, it shows a good signal plus, he has a Verizon phone he uses in the same area.
I talked to Verizon tech support (again...argh) after I posted this reply and they said to use the "reset" on the back of the device. Tried that, but that didn't work either. So far no one at Verizon has been able to figure it out

Thanks for the reply !

Enter the GUI at, or whatever gateway the Verizon card uses, password should be admin. Enter WWAN > Configuration, and click Activate.
