USB not recognized

Acer Aspire one ao532h-2588 netbook

Specs: Windows 7
There would be times when I plugged in my optical mouse that after several minutes it stops working. I can download the pictures from my camera once I plugged that into the computer, yet the battery will not charge. Then when I plug in the USB Hub I get the message not recognized. I have followed the steps from Microsoft and nothing has helped.

Sounds like you need a bigger power supply. However with a net book that isn't really practical.

I suspect your netbook doesn't have enough oomph to run everything.

If you can cut down on the USB devices, you might be able to do what you want, just not all at once.

I can have just one device connected at a time and after about a minute it would shut off. Whenever I had a device to the USB port it states installing software for each of the three ports. The latest issue is now with the printer not being recognized basically due to the USB ports (drives). Now what should I do if I only use one at a time.

If it's under warranty, send it back.

If not, I'm stuck. Maybe someone else can help.
