Uninstalling Adobe Flashplayer Versions 4 & 7

I have tried using the uninstaller from Adobe but when I use it, it only removes the current Version 10. I have searched the Adobe support pages and their forums but they both lead back to the uninstaller which uninstalls 10 but not the older version. When I download the uninstallers from the links in the Secunia Report, they also download the same uninstallers.

How do I get rid of these very old versions please?

Thank you, although the web site does not have an unblemished reputation on Web of Trust.

Is the problem that all the versions are not listed in the add/remove programs?

They are not listed in the Add/Remove program. My understanding is that the now only the Adobe uninstaller can be used, but I may me wrong, and this uninstalls the current version.

Are the rest of them listed When searching the partitions with Windows Explorer?

If so, I would just delete them from there and then run a registry cleaner. I just yesterday had a similar issue with Nero Essentials. It was listed in add/remove programs but would not properly uninstall. The uninstaller at the Nero site didn't work either. I just deleted the folder and then ran the registry modlue in Ccleaner. There were many entries found. I backed up the changes and removed the entries. Did not need the backup. Get Ccleaner Slim (no toolbar) at the link below.
