Unhide a program moved to the background?

November 10, 2010 at 10:08:56
Specs: Windows XP
I am running some software on XP that occasional will end up gone from the display, but still running in the background. Is there any way to bring it back to the display?
I can only have 1 instance of the software running at any time. I can kill the background process and restart the software, but then I lose the data.

have you tried toggling via alt tab? You hold the alt down and tap the tab key to cycle thru open programs.

Already tried the Alt-Tab approach. The program is not visible there. It only shows up under Task Manager Processes

Only solution then would be to figure out what/why the app is shutting down. Perhaps there is an update? Was this app written to run on xp or was it for older OS?
