Have you checked to see if a copy of msconfig.exe is in your C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries folder. If you need a copy you can download a zipped copy at the link below.

Unzip it and place it in your C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries folder

Jack, Do you get an error message when you try it from the Run box? Try typing in msconfig.exe and see what happens. Can you open regedit from the Run box? Is there a copy in your C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries folder?

I did type msconfig.exe no luck. I did the search and did find the file that you speak about (C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries folder)and this is the shortcut that I have placed on my desktop. The error message that windows has been displaying is that it is unable to find the msconfig file. Wil this zip file put msconfig back available to the run box? Thanks
