I'm experiencing problems when i try to shut down my laptop. When i go to click the 'Turn of Computer' button, the computer freezes. However using the Task manager to shutdown the laptop seems to be the only way to shut down the computer. I don't understand why the button doesn't work? Help will be appreciated.

TPatikiri, FWIW, Windows seems to have been plagued with shutdown problems of one sort or another since day 1. I use a standalone shutdown proggie (for convenience) called 'Slawdog' (said to work on all versions). Get it free @:
among other places. Works good and I drag/dropped the icon into my quicklaunch so it'd be handy for use.
