I backed up my PC on my Hard Drive and AVG has identifed 6 Trojan Horse Downloader. 1 of them are in E:\...local Setting\temp Internet \Content.IE5\41uzcx67\file[1].exe and 3 others in similiar Temp Internet folder.
1 is in program File\Common FIles\syste,\MSMAPI\1033\GOP.exe
And I have 1 Trojan Horse Generic in Program files\HPSelect\fl2002\autorun.exe.
Can I just delete them from those folders after AVG has isolated them?
I do not use AVG, but it should have a quarantine and a remove feature, that would be the safest way to completely remove it. It is spoke of fairly highly by many on these forums, so it should be full featured. I believe that just deleting them might leave some registry references and possibly associated files behind.
If it cannot remove it, try another utility that can.You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
Wrong forum. Try Security & Virus.
