transfering files from xp to a cd for 98

Specs: Windows XP
i have a win 98 computer at work that needs software files that i burn onto a cd in win xp. the 98 can't read the xp files. can you go backwards to do this?

What type of files are you talking about & why do you say 98 can't read them?

Most likely you burned them in udf. May or may not be possible to find a Win98 udf that is the same as you used on xp.

The other issue is older computers have a hard time reading cd-r's and really hard time with cd-rw's. The drives were only meant to read cd's.
