The PC Keeps rebooting

Hewlett-packard Pavilion a620n desktop

Specs: Windows XP
I got this PC from my parents who recently got a new PC for themselves. I took out the harddrive and replaced it with two of my own from a PC that I had built a while ago.

After placing the harddrives in, the HP splash screen comes up and then it reboots. When I enter safe mode or Restart with most recent settings, it reboots back to the Splash screen. In BIOS I can see the hardrives' information, so I know they are there. But just cannot explain why it keeps rebooting.

On a similar note, the PC I took them from would randomly restart as well. But you could be on the PC for some time and then BLAM, Reboot!

Any ideas/suggestions? Should I flash BIOS? And, if so, how can I do that without a floppy?

What type of Hard Drive are you using, Sata ? IDE ?

One is an 80GB Western Digital IDE and the other is an 80 GB Maxtor ATA. The latter doesn't say IDE, but it also doesn't say SATA, just ATA.
