Suddeney when i go to start and my computer or control panel etc... it is taking the flashlight a really long time to find things and for them to appear on the screen - I am afraid that means trouble ...does anyone know what could be wrong? thanking u in advance.

elibet, a couple of thoughts come to mind. First thing I'd do is defrag. Over time files can get scattered and access time can REALLY increase. Next, I'd examine the start menu in my control panel and get rid of extras. If you need it, find a list of 'musts' @:
or for info
Mext I'd get/run CCleaner set to get rid of 'temp' files. Get it free @:
I run it often.
