The command promopt ipconfig /flushdns doesn't work

how do i clear the dns cache without using dos in the Command Prompt?

How do you know that flushdns isn't working? I take it that you are aware that web browsers do their own DNS caching, which will be unaffected by flusdns. See this link for ways to clear browser caches: https://support.opendns.com/entries...
