Specs: Windows XP, 4gig
i installed 4 gigs of memory in my computer
from what i hear, 1 gig goes to the kernel and 3 go to physical memory
in the task manager i read:
3,668,396 physical memory
117,328 kernel memory
that doesn't add up to 4 gigs!
it seems that the physical memory has an extra half gig, and the kernel is missing 90% of its memory!
what piece of information am i missing?

I may be wrong but I think the BIOS's (MB and cards, vga etc) need phys. memory and aren't in that list of yours.
